Microneedling with Hyaluronic Acid

Microneedling with hyaluronic acid utilizes the same technique as plain microneedling only hyaluronic acid is driven into the skin.

Hyaluronic acid is a molecule that loves water. It is naturally found in the body but is concentrated in the eyes and joints. It helps make the synovial fluid in the joints and the aqueous humor in the eye. In the skin, it is responsible for hydration, i.e. the plumpness of the skin. As we age, there is less of this molecule available, so the skin becomes less resilient to aging.

Adding hyaluronic acid to a microneedling treatment is a wonderful addition that not only stimulates collagen growth but also introduces a plumping molecule. This treatment is perfect for reducing wrinkles, scars, and hyperpigmentation.
